Welcome to the IIIT-Manipur Scholarships and Loans section. The section hosts information to guide the students in securing educational financial aid through various scholarship schemes and loans from the Government of India, Government of Manipur and other sources.

Funding information:

1. Scholarship Scheme for Higher Education of Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.
• Type of funding: Scholarships/Fellowships
• Funding agency: Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GoI
• Attractive features: Covers meritorius students belonging ST category of IIIT-Manipur to provide full tuition fee, admission fee and non-refundable charges along with stipend and allowances for books, stationaries and computer accessories.

2. PM YASASVI - Scholarships for OBC, EBC, & DNT students

• IMPORTANT NOTE: 100 scholarships for the students of IIIT-Manipur.

• Eligibility:OBC/EBC/DNT students having total annual family income from all sources up to Rs. 2.50 lakh.
• Type of funding: Scholarships/Fellowships/Education Loans
• Funding agency: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI
• Attractive features: Will provide full tution fee and non-refundable charges. Living expenses @Rs. 3000, per month. Book and stationary@ Rs. 5000/- per annum. One time assistance of upto Rs. 45,000/- for laptop/computer and accessories.

3. Canara Bank provides Education Loan to students of IIIT-Manipur
• Type of funding: Collateral free Education Loan
• Funding agency: Canara Bank through Higher Education Financing Agency (HEFA), a Joint Venture between Ministry of Education - Government of India and Canara Bank.
• Attractive features: Assist the needy and meritorious students who are in need of education Loan upto 30 Lakhs.


4. IIIT-Manipur features under the List C (Sl. No. 22) of the SBI scholar loan scheme list of premier institutes
• Type of funding: Education Loan
• Funding agency: SBI
• Attractive features: education loan up to Rs. 7.5 lakhs can be availed without any collateral security.


5. Scholarship to children of small, marginal or landless farmers of Manipur pursuing technical education at graduation or higher level
• Type of funding: Scholarship
• Funding agency: Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Manipur
