We are happy to announce a two days awareness programme on Cyber Threat and Prevention from 07 - 08 May, 2018. The objective of the workshop is to provide the fundamental and application oriented techniques related to cyber threats. The workshop will focus on hands-on and examples, which includes the following topics:

  • Common threats - Virus, Worms, Trojans, Ransomware
  • Basic terminologies related to cyber security
  • Problems faced by the corporate world
  • Wireless security
  • Symptoms of different attacks
  • Social engineering
  • Firewalls and honeypots

    • Who can attend:

    Workshop is open to PG students, UG students and scholars public and private sector employees.
